MBA Admission Procedure

After receiving a candidate's application form, the first step in our admissions procedure is to confirm that the candidate meets the criteria listed in the eligibility tab. So it is crucial for you to send us all the evidence and documents we require.

Stage 1The Written Test

Written test is the first stage of selection process it evaluates your general aptitude. The written test includes the following:

Quantitative Skills: This section of an MBA written examination evaluates skill levels of candidate up to higher secondary school mathematics. The favorite topics for the paper in quantitative section include.

  • Arithmetic (Number Theory, Ratio and Proportion, Fractions, Percentages, equations, Mixtures and etc.
  • Geometry:  (Lines and Angles, Triangles, Circles, Co-Ordinate Geometry etc.)
  • Algebra :    (Quadratic equations, Functions)

·Probability: (Conditional probability & inverse probability)

Qualitative Skills: Qualitative skills are those which can be observed, but are not measurable. This is in direct contrast with quantitative skills, which can be measured in an objective fashion

  • Verbal Ability: This section comprises Grammar, English usage, Reading comprehension, Vocabulary and other aspects of English language.
  • General and Business Awareness:  It tests candidate’s current general managerial knowledge and business awareness.
  • Reasoning Abilities: This includes puzzles and critical reasoning

 

To clear written test, a candidate is supposed to maintain proper balance between the limited examination time and accuracy as there is a general belief whoever maintain proper balance between time and accuracy comes out successful. Following the written entry examination only victorious students will be called for the second phase which involves group discussions and interview which is conducted by MBA Board of Advanced studies and Research.

Stage 2:  The Group Discussion and Interview 

This stage of the admission process is individually held after the announcement of entry test result. The group discussion and interview phase is conducted to evaluate candidate:

  • General behavior
  • Personality traits
  • Communication
  • Management Background
  • English proficiency
  • Logical thinking.

Stage 3: The Final Call:

After clearing the above two stages the all-important final call letter of selection is sent to the selected candidates and the candidate is asked to pay admission fee.
