On September 29, 2021, the Faculty of Humanities hosted a one-day academic seminar on writing literature reviews for students of English Language Literature and Journalism at the campus auditorium. Mr. Zabihullah Arab, the seminar resource person, provided an in-depth explanation of the following essential contents:

What is a literature review?
Why is it imperative to write a literature review?
How does literature review help in the identification of the research gap?
How research questions and objectives are derived from literature?
The key steps in conducting a literature review?

The session was also attended by Dr. Obaidullah Shinwari, Vice Chancellor for KU, Mr. Abidullah Momand, the Dean Faculty, and academicians from the departments of journalism and English literature. In conclusion of the seminar, beneficiaries of the event expressed pleasure and considered the seminar as helpful and practical for the elevation of their academic capacity. 

At the same time, attendees requested the faculty of humanities to convene similar useful seminars in the future. It is to be said that the Faculty of Humanities has previously organized similar events and will work hard to hold extracurricular and knowledge-building sessions in the future.
