Khurasan Bazar

Khurasan University has officially launched Khurasan Bazar, an initiative aimed at improving students' skills and fostering practical knowledge. This gigantic event featured 15 exhibitors who displayed a wide range of goods such as homemade foods, fruits, beverages, books, computer accessories, lottery tickets, and air-gun aiming. At the beginning of the event, Mr. Ihsanullah Shorish, the Dean Faculty of Economics delivered imperative remarks about the significance of having practical knowledge. He stated “As a student, you can’t succeed in this competitive business world unless you have practical understanding of theories”. Additionally, Dr. Obaidullah Shinwari, Vice Chancellor for Khurasan University also addressed the audience. During his words, he described the event as both an academic and entertaining for students and strongly advised them to use marketing concepts when selling the goods to consumers at Khurasan Bazar. 

After the speeches, the inaugural ribbon was jointly cut by KU officials & academicians and the exhibitors practically began selling the goods. The event progressed successfully from morning to evening session and things went in an orderly manner. The public attendees who were part of the event expressed gratitude to Khurasan University for exercising determined efforts in organizing Khurasan Bazar and considered the experience as unique one. Similarly, students from economics faculty expressed sincere appreciation from university for providing a great platform which enabled them to transform theory into practice. They requested KU to hold similar events as they help them develop their leadership, confidence and communication skills.
 
Khurasan University is committed at students’ capacity building in terms of practical skills development and transforming theory into practice and pledges to work determinedly to provide practice oriented events in the future. It is also worth mentioning that the Faculty of Economics has previously convened similar events to uplift students’ academic abilities.
