Grading Plan

Khurasan University always follows rigidity and rigorous process in its grading and marking.  KU provides marks based on the following criteria:

  • Class Participation ( 5 Marks )

Lecturers regularly integrate the evaluation of classroom participation or classroom contribution. It is sometimes called an evaluation strategy to persuade students to take part in class discussion, and to motivate students to do the background reading and preparation for a class session.

  • Seminars Attending ( 5 Marks )

Khurasan University always endeavors to encourage student to participate in seminars. Our seminars are specifically designed to elevate student’s academic capacity and get the most of the lectures.

  • Quizzes ( 5 Marks )

Quiz is a short test which is usually taken in your classroom. Khurasan University frequently concentrates on taking quizzes as it make students review their coursework, increase class participation, remember lectures and build reading habits.

  •  Assignments (5 Marks)

Khurasan University truly understands the significance of assignment. Thus, we always highly focus on student’s assignment. Assignment is effective to our students in many ways. For example, it can improve student writing skills, analytical ability, cognitive ability and application of real life example.

  • Attendance (5 Marks)

75 % attendance is must. KU is strongly decisive in student’s attendance and never compromise on shortness of attendance. If a student does not make up to the determined attendance, he will not be eligible to be promoted to next academic term.

Mid- Term Examination (25 Marks)

Khurasan University takes mid-term exam during the middle of a semester. It is taken after it is ensured that the course-work of the semester has been completed 50%.

Final Term Examination (50 Marks)

The final term examination is a major test which is taken at the end of the completion of each semester. Final term exams determine the student’s destiny whether to be promoted to the next term or repeat the existing semester.
