With accordance to the requirements of Ministry of Higher Education of Afghanistan, Khurasan University conducting two entry tests (Kankor exams) from the new students each year. The entry tests are scheduled in the months of February and October and only qualified students of the entry tests can acquire admissions in Khurasan University.

The students who are seeking admissions in KU should have recognized certificate of class twelve from the Ministry of Intermediate and Secondary Education before appearing in the entry test.

The other prerequisites include;

• Verified 12th class certificate
• Original Identity Card (Tazkira)
• Passport/Visa for foreign students
• Four passport size photographs

Having the aforementioned prerequisites, students seeking admission in KU should visit the university administration where they can get entry test participation slip after a short procedure. Students would be informed about schedule of the entry tests. The qualified students are than introduced to their respective faculties.
